Subject: Managed Replica trash folder replication
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Always

We've been diving deeper into Managed Replicas lately.

It appears that when you first setup a user with a managed replica, that the trash folder does populate old trash items and starts as empty. New trash items start to replicate into it after the initial setup. If a user retains 4000 hours of trash (against all my advice and resentment), the only trash that comes down to the local replica is the new trash.
So no matter what resides in the trash folder on the server, as soon as you setup Notes again with a new managed replica, your local trash folder will start as empty.

Anyone else experience anything like this or know of a setting/solution?
Currently on client 8.5.2 fp3.
